FEMALE EDUCATION -

Out of 100 there are only 13 children who have received education till the 12^th grade, out of whom only 4 are girls. Keeping in mind that there are 47 girls out of every 100 children born, this implies that only 4 out of 47 girls receive their education till the 12^th grade. This is the dismal situation of ratios in our country where "supposedly" Equality stands as a Fundamental Right in the Constitution. These figures can shake anyone up and that’s what gave us the strength to take up the challenge to help reduce this disparity by whatever little margin we can.

STROT is a project which aims at sponsoring female students in the field of Health Sciences, specifically the course of Nursing. This makes the desired applicant capable enough to earn herself a livelihood and also fulfill her deep seated desires of contributing to the society in a noble way. It would give her the much required boost and support system to fight all odds and make a mark for them in a not so “Equal” society. We aim at breeding not only a well taught & well read generation but also a generation which is exposed to the hard core, yet humanly solvable social issues. The project would also be instilling a sense of personal responsibility that the students should have or feel towards such socially vital issues.
